Winter Solstice Sunrise Hike

Join us as we celebrate one of mankind’s oldest holidays, the Winter Solstice, with a sunrise hike at Bundy Hill Preserve.
Although the solstice marks the beginning of winter, it also marks the beginning of a new solar year for those of us in the northern hemisphere, with the sun reaching its most southern point on the eastern horizon before beginning its six month journey northward again.
The hike will start promptly at 7:30 so we are sure to be at the summit by 8:09 sunrise.
