Walk Through of Mill Pond Natural Area
It’s been a while since we gave a tour of our 17-acre Mill Pond Natural Area – Walter & France Bolle Preserve!
The last tour was in January of last year and a lot has happened since then. Over the past 22 months, CWC staff and volunteers have continued the hard work of restoring the property. We’ve removed thousands more invasive trees and shrubs, planted hundreds of native trees, and the native grass and wildflower seeds that we planted in 2023 and 2024 have taken root. We think it’s time to show off the progress and talk about the future of the property!
Join us on Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00 PM for a walking tour of the CWC’s only urban preserve.
Mill Pond Natural Area is located adjacent to Chipp-A-Waters Park (1403 W. High Street, Mt. Pleasant) and parking for this event will be at the park.
Please note that the entirety of this walk will be off-trail and may be challenging for some participants.
