Vernal Pool Patrol: Volunteer Training

March 22 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us for a day in the field collecting information for the community science project Vernal Pool Patrol. This field day will provide hands-on practice identifying traits of vernal pools and the organisms that use them. By the end of the day, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to collect and submit data for the project. Please dress for the weather. Waterproof shoes are ideal.
Registration required – Becoming a patroller is a two-step process:
1. Register for the Vernal Pool Patrol Field Day on March 22 to practice data entry and ID

2. Register for the free MNFI Vernal Pool Patrol virtual trainings – Register even if you cannot attend the training dates in March; recordings will be available until the end of April.
