Please join us on Saturday June 11th at 1:00PM as we officially dedicate the river access site at Szok Riverbend Preserve.
The Szok Riverbend Preserve was gifted to the CWC with the intent that it become a public river access site. With construction completed in 2021, this site provides the only formal public access site along a 24 mile stretch of river between Island Park in Mt. Pleasant and Geneva Rd. in Midland County, opening up a previously inaccessible stretch of the Chippewa River to paddle-sports enthusiasts and anglers.
After the dedication ceremony, cake and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided .
