Join us on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00AM for a weekend work session at Mill Pond Natural Area. We’re focusing on the removal of invasive trees and shrubs such as common buckthorn, honeysuckle, and Japanese barberry. Removing these species allows native species more of a chance to grow and thrive.
No experience is necessary to participate. We’ll provide tools and training.
Parking for this event is at the east end of Chipp-A-Waters Park (1403 W. High St., Mt. Pleasant). The Natural Area is adjacent to the park.
