Peterson Natural Area Wildflower Walk

August 16, 2014 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Have you ever visited our Peterson Natural Area in Mecosta County? Well, here is a great opportunity to see the property. Whether it’s birds, flowers, trees, natural science, history, or just plain fresh air that interests you, we feel sure you will enjoy the morning walk. This will be a leisurely walk  with ample opportunity to take pictures, check out the field guides or talk about what we encounter. Please call the office at 989-772-5777 or email us at info@chippewawatershedconservancy.org no later than the day before the scheduled walk so we know to expect you.

This walk is free and open to anyone. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Peterson Natural Area parking lot near the intersection of 180th Ave. and Angling Rd., Stanwood, Michigan.

Local wildflower expert Mike LeValley will be our leader.
