Insect Exploration at Sylvan Solace Preserve

Let’s explore the fields and woods of Sylvan Solace Preserve in search of insects! We’ll look under logs, on leaves and flowers, on the ground and on tree trunks. We will bring bug boxes, nets, spoons and field guides to aid our investigation.
Meet Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson at Sylvan Solace Preserve, 4 W. Pickard Road, Mt. Pleasant, protected by the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy. Please leave pets home out of consideration for the other participants and the guest lecturer.
