End of Summer Mushroom Hunt @ Weting Preserve

Join Sister Marie Kopin of the North American Mycological Association on September 19th at 11:00am as we celebrate the last days of summer with a Friday morning mushroom hunt at our 80-acre Weting Preserve in Clare County. This will be the third of five summer and fall fungus forays on CWC preserves.
Participants will explore the preserve in search of wild mushrooms. The event will culminate with an identification of each participant’s findings. This event is free and open to the public.
After the hunt there will be an optional lunch at the Buckhorn Saloon located at 10092 Cadillac Drive (M115), Lake, MI.

Please note that despite what your GPS may tell you, the preserve can only be approached from the west. Access from the east is blocked by one or more gates.
