CWC Guest Speaker Series: Professor Jordan Bruursema

The CWC Guest Speaker Series is a monthly presentation about topics ranging from environmental conservation to outdoor recreation and everything in between.
Jordan Bruursema, Associate Professor at Central Michigan University’s Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services Administration Department will talk Leave No Trace Principles and inspiring/teaching all generations to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. This will be done through a digital presentation and hands on learning opportunities. Included will be a brief overview of the Leave No Trace organization and how folks can get involved and integrate Leave No Trace principles into their communities.
The event will take place at the Annex Room of Veterans Memorial Library located at 301 S. University Ave. in Mt. Pleasant, MI. The event is free and open to the public.
