Bundy Hill Mushroom Foray

Please join Sister Marie Kopin at Bundy Hill on Wednesday, October 19 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. for a mushroom discovery walk.
Sister Marie is an expert in her field, and invites you to join her on another of her informative forays into the field searching for mushrooms and fungi to gather and photograph on an adventurous walk at our newest preserve, Bundy Hill.
Mushrooms and other fungi have an important role to play in nature. Their colors and various forms of occurrence are extremely fun and interesting to learn. Plus, you’ll spend an afternoon enjoying the hunt in a beautiful area.
Directions to Bundy Hill from Mount Pleasant: go west on W. Pickard Road to Rolland Road; north on Rolland to W. River Road; west on W. River Road to just .2 of a mile past Wyman Road. The entrance to the preserve will be on the south side of W. River Road.
