We’re excited to share that news that our accreditation has been renewed!
Accreditation by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission means that we have proven that we have sound finances, practice ethical conduct and responsible governance, and can ensure lasting stewardship of the places we protect. The renewal process involves a thorough external review of financial records, property acquisition documentation, easement and preserve monitoring documents, and policies and procedures. The CWC is part of a network of more than 450 land trust across the nation who have received this designation.
This is the CWC’s second accreditation renewal – We are proud to have maintained this standard!
